Atlantis is a super-scientific city with all sorts of flying inventions and modern weapons, ruled by Queen Atlantea . As Atlantis under the leadership of Atlantea prepares to conquer all the nations of the world, Green Lantern arrives for a brief visit just in time to witness Atlantis sinking into the sea and being destroyed in the cataclysm. When Atlantis sinks, a large part of it survives trapped in an air pocket below the earth's crust under the Atlantic Ocean. This Atlantis eventually becomes the home of a race of great females, where they acted as their rulers and warriors, and weaker and smaller men.

1934

In an Indian prison, Isaac Bowin encounters a mysterious fakir who teaches him the art of using music for hypnosis, a power he will later use as the Fiddler.

1935

Dr. Occult begins his career as a supernatural detective.

1936

The African-American athlete Will Everett won several medals at the Berlin Olympics, but due to the prevailing racism of the time he found few alternatives to work when he returned to the USA, becoming a janitor for Dr. Terry Curtis.

1937

Lee Travis enlists in the Abraham Lincoln Battalion, a group of Americans volunteers aiding the Spanish Republican forces against General Franco. 

Max Mercury becomes the costumed hero Quicksilver.

1938

The Golden Age begins

Mary Kent dies. An indefinite amount of time after Mary's death, John Kent dies, not before counseling his son, Clark, to use his powers for the benefit of mankind.

March 13: Baroness Paula von Gunther's husband, Gottfried, is murdered by Nazi agents when he refuses to surrender his wealth.

April Clark Kent moves to Metropolis and taking a job as a journalist in the Daily Star newspaper he starts his uniformed career as Superman, marking the beginning of the Golden Age. Zatara and Mister America also started their careers in the same month. 

May: Paula von Gunther receives the ashes of her husband by the Nazis in a cigar box. His daughter Gerta is arrested in a concentration camp and Paula is forced into service as a slaver and spy in the United States. These events Ulead to insane cruelty.

June: Magician Giovanni Zatara and wealthy oil man Tex Thompson begin fighting crime. 

October 31: Lee Travis, now the publisher of the New York Globe-Leader, becomes the Crimson Avenger, aided by his Chinese valet, Wing. 

November: Rex "Tick Tock" Tyler develops Miraclo, a wonder drug that gives him super-powers for an hour at a time. He takes out an ad offering his services to those in need as "The Man of the Hour." He will later call himself Hourman. 

1939

Bruce Wayne begins his crusade against crime as Bat-Man.

Jay Garrick, a science student at Midwestern University, has an accident with heavy water and, unconscious, is hospitalized for several weeks. When he is discharged from the hospital, he discovers he has super-speed.

Darrel Dane invents a shrinkage serum and becomes Doll Man.

November: Seriously injured by an explosion, Marine Hank Heywood volunteers for an experimental procedure that turns him into a formidable cyborg soldier, becoming Steel, the indestructible man.

June 1939: Millionaire playboy/inventor Wes Dodds becomes the Sandman. Lee Travis becomes the first person to learn Wes’s new secret identity and gives the Sandman a gift: the Crimson’s gas pistol.

Superman first encounters the Ultra-Humanite, who is an old man in a wheelchair (presumably his original body. 

The Sandman investigates a series of murders in New York's Chinatown committed by The Face.

3 September 1939: Britain, France, Australia, and New Zealand declare war on Germany.

October 1939: Carter Hall, the reincarnation of Prince Khufu, encounters Shiera Sanders, the reincarnation of Khufu's lover Chay-Ara. Wearing artificial wings and a belt of ninth metal, he becomes Hawkman I, battling and apparently slaying Doctor Anton Hastor, the reincarnation of Hath-Set. 

Scientist Terry Curtis is kidnapped by the Ultra-Humanite and forced to build an atomic disintegrator for the villain. NOTE: Terry Curtis later became the villain Cyclotron.

1940

After being disfigured by acid, a Prussian nobleman undergoes an experimental treatment to unlock the latent powers of his mind and body. As Baron Blitzkrieg, he becomes the main metahuman agent of Nazi Germany.

Alias the Spider and Red Torpedo begins their careers.

Jim Corrigan murdered by gangsters and returns from dead as Spectre.

Ultra-Humanite, in the body of Dolores Winters, kidnaps Dr. Terry Curtis and forces him to create an atomic disintegrator. The doctor is saved by Superman, who destroys the blaster; Ultra forges his death by apparently falling into the lava of a volcano.

The chemist Rex Tyler develops the Miraclo pills, becoming the Hourman.

February 1940: Steel parachutes into Germany on a daring mission to capture Adolf Hitler, but is captured and sent to a concentration camp. He is brainwashed and left subject to the mental influence of Baron Blitzkrieg.

March: Dick Grayson becomes Robin.

A robber named "Red Hood" flees from Batman when he steals chemical plant for jumping into the chemical tank that empties into the river. Although he fled with a large sum of money, the chemicals change the colors of his skin and hair.

Joker and The Cat begins their villainous careers.

Superman confronts Luthor for the first time.

Richard Grey Jr. fights crime as the Black Condor. Also the first appearance the Spider, the Clock and the Red Torpedo,

Kent Nelson completes his mystical training with Nabu and becomes Doctor Fate; he battles Wotan and meets Inza Cramer, his future wife. The Spectre clashes with the magician, Zor.

On Earth-S, Billy Batson meets the wizard Shazam and becomes Captain Marvel.

April 9: German troops invade Denmark and Norway.

Red Bee begins career.

June 1940: German troops occupy Paris. Eight days later, France's Vichy government signs an armistice with Germany. Uncle Sam manifests for the first time in the 20th century. 

Alan Scott comes into possession of an ancient Chinese mystical lantern and becomes Green Lantern.

The power line worker named Tom Dalton become Magno, the Magnetic Man. 

Johnny Thunder gains the power to make his wishes come true (courtesy of a magical Bahdnisian Thunderbolt) for an hour after saying the magic word "Cei-U" ("Say You"), and begins a bumbling crimefighting career. 

An accident turns Happy Terril into The Ray. 

Al Pratt finishes his training under Joe Morgan and becomes the Atom.

Ma Hunkel becomes Red Tornado I.

Hawkman battles the evil Aztec priestess Nyola and the Spectre defeats Kulak; the actions of the villain increase the agressivity around the world.

Batman and Robin have their first encounter with the Joker and Catwoman.

Al Pratt dons a costume and dubs himself the Atom. 

Shopkeeper Ma Hunkel dons red long-johns and a helmet made from a soup pot to become the crime-busting Red Tornado. 

November 9: The Justice Society of America, the first team of superheroes, was formed at the request of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who sought to help the allies in Europe without officially involving the American people. The group, formed by Batman, Dr. Fate, Green Lantern Alan Scott, The Flash (Jay Garrick), Hourman, Sandman (Wesley Dodds), Hawkman, The Atom (Al Pratt), The Spectre and Superman, thwarted Hitler's attacks on England, as well as a bombing on the White House. First appearances of the Red Panzer and the Valkyrie, Gudra. 

22 November 1940: The Justice Society of America holds its first official meeting in Gotham City. Members present are the Atom, Doctor Fate, the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Hourman, the Sandman, and the Spectre. Johnny Thunder and the Red Tornado make brief appearances, although the Tornado flees after accidentally tearing out the seat of her pants. Superman and Batman are mentioned as honorary members. 

1941

Dr. Charles McNider, after being struck by an explosion that blinded him, discovers he can see in the dark. Armed with a uniform and blackout bombs, he begins his career as Doctor Midnite.

The members of the JSA are attacked by the mysterious Mister X. Hawkman builds a second Nth metal belt and wings for Shiera Sanders, who becomes Hawkgirl. 

Sargon begins his career.

Dr. Fate fights Ian Karkull and the villain becomes trapped into his shadow form.

Ian Karkull frees Wotan from his captivity and the two villains fights Dr. Fate.

Johnny Thunder joins the JSA, replacing the Flash. The Flash becomes an honorary member. 

April 1941: Ted Knight became Starman inspired by an encounter with Batman and Robin. 

June 28: The Justice Society gathers $ 100,000 each to help war orphans; on the same day, the Justice Society discovers that Ian Karkull is gathering a team of villains (Alexander the Great, Lightning Master, Doctor Doog, Tarantula (Crossart), Wotan, Sieur Satan, Zor and The Cat) in order to kill the future US presidents. Doctor Fate & Nabu destroy Karkull, releasing a burst of "temporal energy" that enhances the longevity of everyone present (Atom, Batman, Doctor Fate, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Hourman, Johnny Thunder, Sandman, Spectre, Starman and non-members Hawkgirl, Joan Williams, Lois Lane and Robin). Hourman leaves the JSA to refine his Miraclo pill, replaced by Starman. Green Lantern, shaken by his failure against Wotan, opts for honorary membership, naming Hawkman the new chairman

June 1941: Mystery writer Jonathan Law becomes the Tarantula. 

Wesley Dodds dons a new costume and adopts Sanderson Hawkins, who becomes his crimefighting partner, Sandy the Golden Boy.

Doctor Mid-Nite joins the JSA, which battles Professor Elba. During the course of the adventure, Shiera Sanders once again aids Hawkman as Hawkgirl. 

Phantom Lady and Miss America start their careers.

Chemist Roy Lincoln drinks an experimental explosive so it does not fall into the wrong hands and becomes the Human Bomb.

Having recovered from a chemical accident while trying to rob a factory, the criminal Eel O'Brien uses his newly acquired powers to redeem himself, becoming the flexible Plastic Man.

The Blackhawks begin to fly in their aircraft like an anti-Nazi squadron.

Sylvester Pemberton and Pat Dugan become Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy.

July 1941: Johnny Chambers is endowed with superspeed by reciting a mathematical formula and becomes Johnny Quick.

Sir Justin, a knight of King Arthur's court, is revived after spending hundreds of years frozen in an ice floe. Armed with enchanted armor and a magic sword, he resumes his adventures as the Shining Knight.

Aquaman begins to protect the seas of the world. 

Hearing rumors about Pueblo City, the anthropologist Oliver Queen discovered the legendary city and in it a large golden statue. A band of evildoers followed and tried to kill Oliver, a Navajo Indian, and the Indian's adopted son, Roy Harper. The archery skill of the three arrested the criminals, but the Indian died in the process, leaving Harper to Oliver's care. Oliver used the gold to finance his careers of Green Arrow and Speedy. 

October 1941: The brain of Robert Crane, a scientist who had been fatally shot by criminals, is transplanted by his assistant Chuck Grayson into a cybernetic body, becoming the Robotman.

Princess Diana wins an Amazon contest to deliver the pilot Steve Trevor back to the men's world. With her superior abilities, she becomes Wonder Woman.

Ted Grant becomes Wildcat. Former child prodigy Terry Sloane, bored and frustrated with life, adopts the guise of Mister Terrific to seek new challenges.

Libby Lawrence becomes Liberty Belle. 

October 1941: Starman battles the Mist. 

Greg Saunders becomes the Vigilante. 

The Crimson Avenger, Green Arrow, the Shining Knight, Speedy, the Star-Spangled Kid, Stripsey, and Vigilante join forces as the Seven Soldiers of Victory. 

Paul Kirk becomes Manhunter.

December 6: Per Degaton travels through time from 1947, accompanied by other future menaces: the King Bee, the Monster, Professor Zodiac, Sky Pirate, Solomon Grundy and Wotan. Together, the villains capture Batman, Doctor Fate, the Flash, Green Lantern, Johnny Thunder, Robin, the Sandman, the Spectre, Starman and Wonder Woman. 

December 7: Japanese Kamikazes raids Pearl Harbor; USA joins World War II. 

The Shining Knight and Danette Reilly free the captive heroes from Wotan's spell. The assembled heroes defeat Degaton and his allies, sending Degaton back to his own era and stripping all involved of their memories of his actions. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt makes a radio announcement about the founding of the All-Star Squadron.

Uncle Sam discovers the existence of Earth-X and moves to stop the Japanese attack on that Earth. He recruits the Freedom Fighters: Hourman, the Invisible Hood, Magno, Miss America, Neon the Unknown and the Red Torpedodo. All but Uncle Sam seemingly perish.

December 8: Various parts of Europe and Asia enters under a mystical barrier. Mystic or magic-susceptible characters in these areas would come under the Fuhrer's control. This barrier was created by the occultist Dragon King in service of Hitler, using a machine energized by the Holy Grail and the Spear of Destiny. 

December 31, 1941: Steel is freed from the mental domination of Baron Blitzkrieg and joins the All-Star Squadron. 

1942

January 6, 1942: The All-Stars fight Akhet the Star Smasher, an alien invader bent on world conquest. 

JSA battles Nazi infiltrators through Latin America.

Terry Sloane begins to use his 1000 abilities as Mister Terrific.

Dr. Doome brings Nero, Attila, Napoleon, Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great until the 20th Century. His plot is defeated by the Seven Soldiers of Victory.

Liberty Belle is elected chairwoman of All-Star Squadron.

Policeman Dan Richards becomes Manhunter I. 

Big game hunter Paul Kirk becomes Manhunter II.

Jim Harper becomes Guardian, working with a group of local kids known as the Newsboy Legion. 

High school teacher Tex Thomas and his student Danny Dunbar become TNT and Dan the Dyna-Mite after a bizarre chemistry accident gives them the power to cause tremendous explosions.

First appearance of Wonder Woman's foe, Baroness Paula Von Gunther. 

Robotman is arrested. 

The All-Star Squadron holds its first official meeting. Present are the Atom, Commander Steel, Firebrand II, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Johnny Quick, Liberty Belle, Robotman and the Shining Knight. Liberty Belle is elected as the chair. The Shining Knight returns to England to become Winston Churchill's bodyguard. He also mentions that the Seven Soldiers of Victory are ready to serve the Squadron. 

January 25, 1942: On trial as a public menace, Robotman reveals that he is Robert Crane's brain in a robot body. The court declares him a human being. The All-Stars briefly encounter Doctor Henry King, the Brain Wave.

February 1942: Tarantula joins the Squadron to battle Thor. The All-Stars discover that Wonder Woman and the JSA have disappeared. 

Terry Curtis has his cancer cured by Ultra-Humanite and becomes Cyclotron, a pawn to the villain. Will everet becomes Amazing Man.

Alexei Luthor gets the Powerstone and challenges Superman. The Man of Steel wins and take the artifact.

Behind the scenes, Brainwave traps all JSAers and uses a device which cause them terrible nightmares.

The Powerstone is stolen by Ultra-Humanite, and he (she) makes contact with himself in the future, and uses the power of the artifact to free Earth-Two villains stranded in the Limbo.

Infinity Inc. time-travels to this era and helps the All-Star Squadron against Ultra-Humanite.

The JSA battles Kulak, who was mind-controlling the Spectre.

Uncle Sam gathers a new team of Freedom Fighters (Black Condor, Doll Man, the Human Bomb, Phantom Lady, the Ray and the Red Bee) and battle Earth-Two's Baron Blitzkrieg, who has captured Hourman. Red Bee dies on his hands. Firebrand, Johnny Quick, Liberty Belle and Starman, joined by Neptune Perkins, battle Tsunami (Miya Shimada). 

The Marvel Family is evoked from Earth-S by Hans Gootsden, a scientist working for Adolf Hitler of Earth-Two. The Family falls under the power of the Spear of Destiny and become Nazis, threatening world peace. The Justice Society and the Plastic Man unite to free the heroes. 

February 1942: Hourman rejoins the All-Star Squadron, which travels to Detroit to help Amazing-Man against the Real American. 

The Perisphere is invaded by Sumo (first chron. appearance ), Kung and Tsunami, led by Prince Daka. The villains seize Starman's Gravity Rod. 

April 1942: Earth-Two: Johnny Quick marries Liberty Belle. 

Mekanique arrives from the future and is taken in by Robotman.

All-Star Squadron is joined by new members Air Wave, Aquaman, Manhunter II, Mister America, Mister Terrific, the Whip and Zatara. 

April 1942: Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle, attacks Tokyo. One of the bomber crews secretly includes the Unknown Soldier.

Mister America passes his spy training and becomes the Americommando. 

June 1942: Flash battles the Shade. 

November 1942: The Flash battles the Rag Doll.

July 1943: The JSA has a rematch with the Brain Wave, who shrinks the male members to a height of eight inches.

Wildcat battles the murderous Yellow Wasp.

The JSA battles the King Bee. 

September 1943: Wonder Woman first encounters Priscilla Rich, the Cheetah.

Green Lantern meets the immortal Vandal Savage.

September 1944: Green Lantern clashes with Solomon Grundy, who is running amok in Gotham City.

November 1944: The JSA battles Charlie Halstead, Psycho Pirate, who kidnaps Hawkman's girlfriend Shiera. 

January 1945: Mister Terrific and Wildcat become JSA members, replacing the Spectre and Starman.

March 1945: Hawkman battles the Monocle.

April 30, 1945: Hitler is slain by the Unknown Soldier. Hitler's contingency plan, "Operation: Nosferatu" is never implemented thanks to the Soldier. 

May 7, 1945: Germany officially surrenders, ending the war in Europe. The Unknown Soldier is reported dead.

September 1945: The Nazi agent Der Teufel uses a piece of Kryptonite to transform a young Nazi named Heinrich Milch into the Atom Man, giving him the power to fire Kryptonite lightning from his fingertips. He nearly kills Superman and destroys Metropolis before his ultimate defeat. 

During a battle with Azmodus, the Spectre is trapped in the form of Jim Corrigan. He does not recover for 20 years

1946

Hawkman befriends the winged inhabitants of the hidden city of Feithera.

Brain Wave subjects the JSA to bizarre dreams intended to drive them insane.

The JSA fights the Psycho-Pirate.

Seeking revenge on Green Lantern, Solomon Grundy takes on the entire JSA.

Green Lantern clashes with Crusher Crock. Crock later became the Sportsmaster.

Wildcat battles the Yellow Wasp.

Per Degaton attempts to conquer the world four times.

Dinah Drake becomes Black Canary I, crimefighting partner of Johnny Thunder.

Wildcat battles Huntress I.

In order to attract the attention of the Green Lantern, Molly Mayne becomes the costumed criminal called the Harlequin.

Hawkman takes on the spirit of Gentleman Jim Craddock, the Gentleman Ghost.

Green Lantern battles the Icicle

Green Lantern encounters Knodar, the so-called Last Criminal, a time traveler from the 25th century. 

The Wizard enlists the Brain Wave, the Gambler, Per Degaton, the Thinker, and Vandal Savage to join the Injustice Society of the World.

The Flash first encounters Rose Canton and her psychotic alternate personality, the Thorn, unaware that they are the same person.

Flash battles the Fiddler. 

1948

Johnny Thunder and Black Canary investigate the mystery of "The Tumbling Trees." Black Canary meets private detective Larry Lance, whom she eventually marries.

Merry, the adoptive sister of Sylvester Pemberton (the Star-Spangled Kid) becomes Merry, Girl of a Thousand Gimmicks.

The JSA travels to Fairyland to battle Lorelei and an army of mythical creatures. 

Johnny Thunder retires from crimefighting, realizing that he is losing control of his Thunderbolt.

Wonder Woman battles a group of female foes, Villainy Incorporated: Cheetah, Giganta, Queen Clea, Zara, Hypnota, Eviless, the Blue Snowman & Doctor Poison.

The JSA are mentally enslaved by a new Injustice Society: the Fiddler, Harlequin, Huntress, the Icicle, Sportsmaster, and the Wizard. The Harlequin betrays her criminal comrades to help Black Canary free the JSA. Black Canary becomes a full member of the JSA. 

The JSA battles Professor Zabor Zodiac, the Alchemist.

Doctor Mid-Nite battles Revelk. 

Green Lantern learns that the Harlequin is now an undercover agent for the FBI.

October 1948: The Seven Soldiers of Victory—Crimson Avenger, Green Arrow, the Shining Knight, Speedy, the Star-Spangled Kid, Stripsey, and the Vigilante—are scattered throughout time following a battle with the Nebula Man. 

1949

The Flash confronts The Rival.

October, 1951: After nearly being killed by Eliminations, Inc., the JSA is called to appear before the House Committee on Un-American Activities on charges of consorting with a foreign agent. Rather than unmask themselves, Green Lantern dramatically whisks them away from the hearing. All these events were orchestrated by Per Degaton.

1952

Clark Kent marries Lois Lane. 

1953

Robotman becomes trapped in a mine and remains in suspended animation for decades. 

Dinah Drake marries Larry Lance.

1954

The Ultra-Humanite returns to Metropolis for revenge on Superman. 

The Harlequin helps Green Lantern and Superman apprehend the Sportsmaster and reveals that she is an undercover agent for the FBI. She later drops out of sight.

1955

Batman releases Catwoman from prison to help him apprehend the Scarecrow. They finally confess their true feelings for one another. 

Bruce Wayne marries Selina Kyle. Clark and Lois Kent attend the wedding.

The Ultra-Humanite, now in the body of a giant ant, returns to Metropolis to battle Superman.

September 957: Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle have a daughter, Helena Wayne. 

1960 - THE SILVER AGE

Doctor Fate and Hourman join forces to battle Solomon Grundy. 

Psycho-Pirate II is defeated by Doctor Fate and Hourman. Hourman reveals his secret identity to his girlfriend, Wendi Harris, whom he later marries. 

The Black Canary's infant daughter, Dinah Lance, is cappearance ursed by the Wizard, giving her uncontrollable sonic powers. Johnny Thunder's Thunderbolt takes her to his dimension and strips away all memory of the baby's existence.

1965

Black Canary emerges from retirement and teams up with Starman to battle the Mist. 

With the help of Wildcat, Black Canary and Starman defeat the Huntress and Sportsmaster. 

The spell that trapped the Spectre within the body of Jim Corrigan is broken. He defeats Azmodus and Azmodus' master, Shathan, lord of Dis. 

1968

Red Tornado II helps the JLA and JSA battle T.O. Morrow and joins the JSA.

1969

Rex and Wendi Tyler's son Rick (Hourman II) is born.

1972

The JLA and JSA rescue the Seven Soldiers of Victory, scattered throughout time after a battle with the Nebula Man that cost the life of Wing. The Red Tornado sacrifices himself to destroy the Iron Hand.

1973

Hector Hall (Silver Scarab) is born to Carter and Shiera Hall in Cairo, Egypt. 

Birth of Albert Rothstein, the grandson of Terry Curtis (Cyclotron). The Atom becomes his godfather.

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor marry and have a daughter, Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor (Fury).

Merry Pemberton marries Henry King (Brain Wave). They have a son, Henry King, Jr. (Brainwave Jr.).

The JLA and JSA are drawn to Earth-X, where they help the Freedom Fighters (Uncle Sam, Black Condor, Doll Man, the Human Bomb, Phantom Lady, and the Ray) defeat the Nazis, who on Earth-X won World War 2. The heroes in this story are the only survivors of the original group. 

1974

The JLA and JSA fight a mysterious sand monster who is revealed to be Sandy the Golden Boy, transformed into a monster in 1947. The Sandman vows to find a way to restore Sandy to human form. 

1975

Doctor Fate battles the mummified mad Egyptian priest Khalis over the Amulet of Anubis.

1976

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rose Canton/Alyx Florin gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The children are both put up for adoption. The girl is adopted by Julian and Myrna Hayden and raised as Jennifer-Lynn Hayden (Jade); the boy is adopted by Jim and Shirley Rice and raised as Todd James Rice (Obsidian). While growing up, neither knows the identity of their real parents. 

The Star-Spangled Kid and Power Girl join the JSA, which battles the Brain Wave. The Star-Spangled Kid begins using Starman's cosmic rod. This is the first modern appearance of the Brain Wave. Robin adopts a new costume.

The JSA's Gotham City headquarters is badly damaged in a battle with Vulcan, a former NASA astronaut transformed by a solar flare.

The JSA battles the Fiddler and Solomon Grundy. Superman leaves active membership in favor of Power Girl.

The JLA, JSA, and the heroes of Earth-S battle King Kull. 

1977

November/December 1977: Selina Kyle is accidentally killed after being blackmailed into resuming her role as Catwoman, prompting Bruce Wayne to retire as Batman. He later becomes police commissioner of Gotham City.

The JSA battles Vandal Savage in the time of King Arthur. In the present, a distraught Green Lantern falls under the influence of Psycho-Pirate II.

Under the control of the Psycho-Pirate, Green Lantern begins a rampage in Gotham City. Bruce Wayne orders the JSA's arrest on charges of reckless endangerment. The JSA is forced to battle the Flash and Green Lantern as the involvement of the Psycho-Pirate is revealed.

The JLA and JSA travel to the 30th Century, where they join the Legion of Super-Heroes to battle Mordru and the Demons Three.

Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle's daughter Helena becomes the Huntress II to avenge her mother's death.

Bruce Wayne enlists Doctor Mid-Nite, Hourman, Robin, Starman, and Wonder Woman to apprehend the rest of the JSA. Superman breaks up the fight and Doctor Fate discovers that Bruce Wayne is under the influence of the Psycho-Pirate. Bruce is freed from the villain's control and apologizes for his actions. Meanwhile, the Huntress watches unseen.

1978

Most of the JSA takes a well-earned rest. Jay Garrick gets Alan Scott a job as an engineer at Jay's company, Keystone Labs. The Star-Spangled Kid and Wildcat battle the Strike Force.

Power Girl is forced to battle the intelligent "symbio-ship" that brought her to Earth. She rescues the Flash and Green Lantern from Brain Wave in Keystone City.

The Star-Spangled Kid and Wildcat defeat the Strike Force, whose leader is unmasked as the Star-Spangled Kid's nephew, Arthur Pemberton.The Huntress reveals her origin to Wildcat. Earth-Two's Jim Corrigan, no longer bound to the Spectre, appears as a Gotham police detective.

The Huntress takes Batman's place as Gotham's principal guardian. Bruce Wayne never learns of his daughter's dual identity.

May/June 1978: The Huntress officially joins the JSA and battles the original Huntress.

June/July 1978: Led by the Wizard, the Secret Society of Super-Villains attempts to defeat the JSA by attacking the members individually.

1979

January 1979: The JSA clashes with escaped convict Bill Jensen, who now possesses mysterious magical powers and wants revenge on Commissioner Bruce Wayne. Batman dies in combat with Bill Jensen, exposing his secret identity. He is buried with honors in Gotham City. At the funeral, Helena Wayne dissuades Dick Grayson from taking up Batman's mantle. 

The JSA avenges Batman's death by tracking down Frederic Vaux, the sorcerer who gave Bill Jensen his powers. Doctor Fate casts a spell to insure that anyone who did not already know Batman's true identity believes that Bruce Wayne and Batman died separate deaths, protecting the secret identities of Robin and the Huntress.

July 1979: Wildcat takes a leave of absence from the JSA to open a private gym in Gotham for underprivileged kids.

October 1979: Mister Terrific rejoins the Justice Society just in time to be killed by his old enemy the Spirit King, who has possessed the body of Jay Garrick. 

1980

October 1980: Highfather draws the JLA and JSA to New Genesis to join the New Gods against Darkseid. 

December 1980: Huntress and Power Girl battle the Thinker, who is attempting to convince D.A. Harry Sims to outlaw costumed heroes in Gotham City.

1981

September 1981: Robin poses as Batman to help the Huntress capture the Joker.

Superman and Robin help the Earth-One Superman and Batman defeat a revived Atom Man (spelled "Atoman").

October 1981: After learning that he is dying of an incurable disease, the Crimson Avenger goes into action a final time, saving the life of a young Latino boy and then heroically steering a burning chemical tanker away from New York harbor, saving countless lives at the cost of his own.

November 1981: Robin helps Huntress foil a blackmail attempt on their law partner, Arthur Cranston. 

December 1981: The JLA and JSA battle the Ultra-Humanite, now in the body of a giant white ape, and a new Secret Society of Super-Villains: Brain Wave, Cheetah II, the Floronic Man, Killer Frost, the Mist, the Monocle, Psycho-Pirate II, Rag Doll and Signalman.

1985

Al Pratt reveals to his 12 year-old godson Al Rothstein that he is secretly the Atom.

JSA brats Hector Hall, Lyta Trevor, Al Rothstein, and Rick Tyler meet for the first time (they're all about 12 years old). 

1984

March 1984: Jade (Jennifer-Lynn Hayden), Northwind (Norda of Feithera), Nuklon (Albert Rothstein), Obsidian (Todd Rice), Silver Scarab (Hector Hall) (first chronological appearances) and Fury II (Hippolyta Trevor) attempt to join the Justice Society, but are rejected. They leave angrily, accompanied by Huntress and Power Girl. 

Brainwave Jr. approaches the JSA, claiming to have information about the Ultra-Humanite's escape from Limbo. Star-Spangled Kid accompanies him to investigate. Ultra transports them and the other young heroes back in time to the year 1942. 

The young heroes return to the present. With the Star-Spangled Kid, they found Infinity, Inc., with Power Girl and the Huntress as honorary members. The Infinitors battle Solomon Grundy. Under the influence of the Ultra-Humanite, Superman summons Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Green Lantern, the Atom, and Robin to Colorado, where he drowns them in the Stream of Ruthlessness.

The Infinitors are called to Colorado to identify the bodies of Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Green Lantern, the Atom, and Robin, all apparently dead. 

The "dead" JSAers revive, now evil from the effects of the Stream of Ruthlessness. 

The Infinitors and Flash I confront the evil JSAers in Colorado. Power Girl instigates a battle with Superman in Metropolis and the Huntress takes on Robin in Gotham. 

Fury and the Silver Scarab fight Wonder Woman and Hawkman. 

Power Girl vs. Superman, while Nuklon and Wildcat fight the Atom. Nuklon is accidentally bombarded with thorium radiation. 

Brainwave Jr. and the Star-Spangled Kid enlist the aid of the original Brain Wave. Nuklon discovers that the thorium radiation has given him the ability to control his density, allowing him to phase through objects. Meanwhile, Doctor Mid-Nite discovers the Ultra-Humanite's involvement. 

The JSA is freed from the effects of the Stream of Ruthlessness. Brain Wave sacrifices his life to give Brainwave Jr. the power to defeat the Ultra-Humanite.

The Infinitors are offered membership in the JSA, but choose to remain independent with Star as their leader.

Infinity, Inc. holds a press conference in Los Angeles. The Silver Scarab reveals his true identity and those of his parents (Hawkman and Hawkgirl I). The Star-Spangled Kid, Jade, Obsidian, and Nuklon also unmask. The Huntress reveals that she is Batman's daughter. Power Girl and the Huntress leave to rejoin the JSA. First appearance of Ted Grant's goddaughter Yolanda Montez (later Wildcat II).

1985

January 1985: The JSAers, except for Robin, Power Girl, and the Huntress, are arrested and forced to appear before a congressional committee to answer charges of treason. Helena Wayne becomes the JSA's legal counsel; Dick Grayson, unwilling to discredit his mentor, joins the prosecution. 

April 1985: While taking a brief vacation, members of Infinity, Inc. are attacked by the Thorn. After battling the Thorn, the Infinitors meet Rose Canton, unaware that she and the Thorn are the same person. 

Chroma appears, foretelling doom for the Earth. 

April 1985: The Anti-Monitor begins destroying the parallel Earths of the positive-matter universe with waves of anti-matter. The five surviving Earths (1, 2, 4, S and X) experience mysterious red skies and bizarre weather. 

June 1985: Chroma disappears. The Star-Spangled Kid returns to California. Infinity, Inc. 

Lyta Trevor and Hector Hall's celebration of their engagement is rudely interrupted when Lyta is kidnapped by Mister Bones. 

Trying to rescue Fury from Mister Bones, the Silver Scarab battles Helix: Tao Jones, Baby Boom, Penny Dreadful, Kritter, and Arak Wind-Walker.

Helix escapes from the Infinitors. The Thorn gets a visit from the Harlequin, who warns her to stay away from Green Lantern's children. 

Jade is rushed to the hospital after feeling the cyanide touch of Mister Bones. She is treated by Doctor Beth Chapel, a colleague of Charles McNider. 

The JLA, JSA, and Infinity, Inc. rescue Steel from Commander Steel and Mekanique. 

September 1985: Wildcat's legs are crushed saving a young girl's life. 

Yolanda Montez becomes Wildcat II.

November 1985: Beth Chapel is blinded by an oxygen explosion in her hospital. Hourman's son Rick Tyler takes a Miraclo capsule to enable him to rescue her.

Green Lantern, the Harlequin, Jade, and Obsidian clash with the Thorn. Thorn's good personality, Rose Canton, briefly regains control; she stabs herself to prevent her evil personality from killing her children. Before she dies, she reveals that she was Alyx Florin, Alan Scott's former wife, and Jade and Obsidian's mother. The Harlequin reveals her true identity to Green Lantern and admits her feelings for him. They decide to marry.

December 1985: The JSA and Infinity, Inc. attend a wedding reception for Alan Scott and Molly Maynne (Harlequin). Brainwave Jr. returns to Infinity, Inc. Beth Chapel discovers that she can see in the dark and becomes Doctor Midnight. Rick Tyler becomes Hourman II.

A vast army of super-villains, led by Earth-One's Lex Luthor and Brainiac, attempts to seize power on the five partially merged surviving Earths. Hawkman I is severely wounded by Doctor Phosphorus.

December 1986: The villain war is ended by the Spectre, who unites all of the surviving heroes and villains in a last-ditch effort to stop the Anti-Monitor from changing history to eliminate the positive-matter universe from existence. The Spectre and the Anti-Monitor clash at the Dawn of Time, apparently destroying all of creation. 

February 1986: Knodar arrives from the 25th century for a rematch with the heroes of the 20th century. Brainwave reveals that he has inherited his father's powers. Northwind returns to Feithera, which is destroyed by a glacier, forcing his people to relocate. Jade soothes the savage Solomon Grundy, becoming the only person Grundy trusts.

Jonni Thunder and the Star-Spangled Kid battle Knodar in Hollywood.

July 2008: The JSA has become the Justice Society Infinity, and Huntress has resigned. Flash and Green Lantern have retired; Superman is missing.

Jade says that the Earth-Two Alan Scott is dead.
